Hello, my dearest jewellery loving friends,
in this difficult “Corona Virus” days, I just think about the seaside, the aperitifs served on breath-taking Roman roofs, the holidays, the opportunities to show off your suntan and all your beautiful, colourful jewels that are waiting in a drawer.
It’s with great pleasure that I’m going to talk about a brand – and its founder – that reminds us of the vibrant atmosphere we can live only in summer. I’m going to show you the multicoloured world of Thais Bernardes, founder of the brand Thais Jewels.
Thais is a beautiful Brazilian woman who came to Italy when she was 22 to work as a catwalk model in Milan. She was born in Belo Horizonte, capital city of Minas Gerais, one of the largest producers of gems among Brazilian states. As a child she learned to appreciate the magnificent colours of natural stones and the extraordinary variety of the lavish nature by which she was surrounded. This heavily influenced her path towards a brand of her own that she conceived in Italy after studying gemmology and jewellery design.
Thais jewellery’ logo is a colourful macaw, a Brazilian native parrot species.
Her elegant, finest jewels as well as her minimal creations are all lively and rich in colours, have an unmistakable style and reflect the typical joyful Brazilian attitude. As you can see in the images – by now you know that I’m an animal lover – I adore the jewels with parrots, be they rings, necklaces or earrings, colourful pinky rings, perfect for summertime.
It’s so pleasant to wear Thais Jewels. You just find yourself catapulted unexpectedly into a cheerful dimension, in a culture so far away yet so close, so you just can’t help but putting one of these pieces on.
As Thais says, her jewellery is a fascinating mix of Italy and Brazil, of attention to detail and lightness, of elegance and glamour, designed for girls and women in whom “smart” and “cool” live in harmony.
All her creations are available on the internet at www.thaisbernardes.com, where you can also find the nearest dealers.
It was a real pleasure for me to meet Thais in Milan and see all her collections; I’m sure you will like them too!
Thank you once again Thais. Goodbye my dear readers and friends, will write to you soon, your MissGio
