Homi Fashion & Jewels 2020

Hello to all of you, my dear readers!

As you know, again this year I had the pleasure and the honour to attend Homi Fashion & Jewels in the capacity of ambassador (click here to read my article about the previous edition).

UNIQUENESS, RESEARCH AND EXPERIMENTATION were confirmed to be the key concepts and the common thread of the event. Again in this edition the organizers proved that only constant experimentation, innovative use of materials, continued research for new design lines, increasing attention to nature and an eye to costs can achieve the kind of UNIQUENESS featured in the works of the incredible artists operating in the fair.

I walked for hours among the stands at Homi Fashion & Jewels 2020 yesterday and, as you can imagine, it was exciting to wear thousands of fantastic jewels, to meet so many emerging artists and to greet with affection many jewellery designers I can define friends by now.

Just like during the last Homi fashion & jewels , the best thing was discovering new brands; even if some of them have been on the market for years, I did not know them yet. International fairs like Homi, so well organized and where the presence of young talented national and international designers is treated with special attention, give the jewellery industry prestige and new lustre. I could admire, wear and appreciate all kinds of jewellery: from minimal to the most stylish and flashy, made of aluminium or golden plated silver, innovative materials with all kinds of stone mounted on, jewels and accessories that can satisfy any taste, suitable for all pockets, both for women and men… in short, Homi fashion & jewels is a large treasure chest, full of treasures to discover, an event you can’t definitely miss.

I could make for you only a small selection of jewels, believe me, nothing more than this could have been done in one day. Although I’m a good walker, I couldn’t visit all 600 stands at Homi this year. 120 of them participated for the first time.

The key novelty of this year was “TRENDY SPACE”, an area set up in collaboration with Polimoda of Milan, presenting the trends of the next two years. Through a step forward in the future, an incredible visual concept displays jewellery and fashion accessories of tomorrow.

With that, I greet you and give you an appointment to my next article a… a jewellous kiss to all!
