Necklace made of shells of Caprera

Goodmorning to all of my lovely ladies…

Today I would like to tell you the story of a day that started in a strange way but ended up with another adventure in the world of fashion and jewlery.

As you probably already know, I’m spending my holidays on the wonderful beaches of Sardinia. One morning my best friend Valentina, who is also a big lover of jewlery, proposed me a different plan for the day. Instead of going to the beach with a shovel and a bucket and play with the kids all day, we decided to go for a nice walk, go shopping, get some delicious ice cream and go horse riding under the sunset, when finally the the beach is empty and peaceful… and the color of the dusk makes the skin look golden.

But first we got ready to go around the shops of the Maddalena, which often in those days have been helping me to keep my mood up and provide me with an opportunity to get to know the gorgeous works of several amazing artisans, who were not well known but yet very talented.

In fact, my friend and I managed to find a beautiful ethnic shop in the street of Gribaldi 15, exactly in the middle of the pedestrian area. There we found gorgeous and eccentric necklaces, perfect for this magic day of horse riding.

As you can see from the picture, you can wear them during summer evenings or whenever you have the courage to dare like me. You will immediately notice that even though these neckleases are extravagant and very noticable, their quality is extremly high and accurate, even more than what you can see from this picture.

Obviously Valentina and I couldn’t miss the oppurtunity to buy them. So after we met the owner of the shop (a lovers of ethnic fashion) we decided to buy three of these amazing necklaces, perfect to be worn for a party on the beach, to have some fun with them and take some pictures…

Another very interesting quality is that even though this is a voluminous piece of jewlery, the material is very light; absolutly eccentric and particular but never vulgar.

Afterwards, very proud of our acquisition, we decided to get a big milk shake to celebrate and then go to the famous riding school of Caprera, ‘Cavalla Marsala,’ managed by lovely and very competent people.

Alessandro, the owner and an extremly nice guy, immediately attended to our wish and gave us two beautiful and sweet horses to have a walk on the beach on that magic evening under that breathtaking sunset. That walk has really been a magical and emotional experience.

On our necks, Valentina and I were wearing these beautiful necklaces made of white shells, looking like two amazones from another continent and I can tell you, it was impossible to not notice us…

My dear ladies, I always say that a nice bikini and the right piece of jewlery is all you need to be happy…

Till soon my dear friends!
